Current Status
IFS cycle 43r1 is now entering the release candidate phase. Test data are available through the dissemination and graphical products are 43r3 has been implemented in operations on Tuesday 11 July 2017. We have removed the release candidate charts in ecCharts and on the ECMWF web site.The first operational run using the new cycle will be the 06 UTC analysis and forecast in the Boundary Conditions Optional Programme on 11 July followed by the 12 UTC main assimilation and forecast. The monthly forecast extension to the ensemble will be run with the new IFS cycle for the first time the following Thursday 13 July 2017. We have also discontinued the dissemination of the release candidate data.
