System set passwords last 30 days, user set passwords last 6 months

12 months. After that you will be required to reset your password.
What happens if I do not reset my password?
If you do not reset your password and do not make any login using the ECMWF single sign-on (SSO) to access ECMWF web or computing services then your account will be disabled and you will no longer be able to login.
