VERY DRAFT – coming back soon I hope

To ensure a fair share of resources for all EWC users while keeping usage as flexible as possible, each type of deployed resource is accounted hourly based against and deduced from an annual billing unit budget (EWCU).  - burst capacity, quotaIn addition, each type of resource has quota defining hard limit which can't be exceeded at any point of time. Typically, quota is set higher than the annual budget, allowing temporary burst capacity for short period of time.

Accounting dashboard

Info

Accounting dashboard is available at: https://accounting.europeanweather.cloud

Credentials to the accounting dashboard system are created by default to the Computing Representatives and Tenant Admins in the tenancy creation phase. If you are a tenant-admin and would like to have credentials or would like to get credentials for tenant users, please raise a ticket containing the tenancy name(s) and email(s) of the user(s) who should get credentials.

The accounting dashboard allows you to see how many billing units you have consumed and how much budget you have left . The consumption is broken down by resource type and the most expensive VMs are depicted, giving you a clear understanding of your cloud usage. Additionally, the dashboard displays the hard limit, or quota, for each resource type, so you can ensure you're staying within the limits.and analyze the consumption along with quota (hard limit of the resources).

Two dashboards are available:

1) Computing Representative dashboard, providing overview of the annual budget and consumption

2) Tenant dashboard, providing more detailed information on the usage.

Both dashboards are available for all users, while the There are two types of users who can access the dashboard: Computing Representatives and Tenant Admins. Computing Representatives can see all tenancies within their countries, while Member State and Tenant Admins can only see their own tenancies. The Computing Representative dashboard shows an overview of consumption across all tenancies within their country.

We highly recommend that you monitor your consumption regularly to ensure that you are not exceeding your budget. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact your cloud administrator for assistance.

Thank you for using the European Weather Cloud accounting dashboard!

- Accounting dashboard shows to users how much billing units (EWCU) they have consumed and how much budget they have left
- Different type of resources and most expensive VMs are depicted
- Quota, providing the hard limit, is shown as well
