The Service Status page on the EWC Website allows to check the status of the provided EWC services as well as related notifications or planned system maintenance sessions.


Overall service status summary

The top right of the website displays the overall service status summary, as highlighted in red below.

The coloured dot follows the convention:

  • Green → All services are up and operational
  • Orange → Some services are in a degraded status or down
  • Red → Both ECMWF and EUMETSAT Cloud Infrastructures are down 

Click on the status summary to access the Service Status page.

Service Status Page

The Service Status page is divided into three main sections:

  1. Status Dashboard : overview of the current status of each monitored EWC service
  2. Notifications : list of service notifications related to each monitored service 
  3. Sessions : list of upcoming or past planned system maintenance sessions for each monitored service

Status Dashboard

The first part of the page includes the status dashboard which provides the overview of the current status of each monitored EWC service. 


The legend shows the colour codes and their respective meaning for the displayed status of the service:


Click on each service to get more information on its status and the related notifications or system sessions:


The "Source" URL indicates the source of the monitoring information which may change depending if the monitored service is hosted at ECMWF or EUMETSAT:


Notifications

Below the Status dashboard is the list of notifications related to the monitored services.

The notifications may include on-going or past incidents or information about the start/end of maintenances windows.


The user may sort per time or impacted service, as well as perform a textual search on the respective box.

The displayed times by default are in UTC, however it is possible to change their visualization according to the Local Time zone by ticking the checkbox "Show in Local Time".

The user might also click on a notification row to get a pop-up showing more information:

Sessions

The bottom of the page shows the list of upcoming or past planned system maintenance sessions for each monitored service.

It is possible to switch between the "Upcoming or Still Running" and the "Past" sessions by clicking on the top-left switch.

Also for the sessions the user may sort per time or impacted service, as well as perform a textual search on the respective box.

The displayed times by default are in UTC, however it is possible to change their visualization according to the Local Time zone by ticking the checkbox "Show in Local Time".

The user might also click on a notification row to get a pop-up showing more information about the planned session:

  • No labels
