Introduction

To ease and speedup the review process, we encourage contributors to follow the best-practices and/or example EWC-supported Items which use the same Technology as your submission (see Best Practices of Community Hub Implementation for a non-exhaustive list of references)

The EWC team will acknowledge your submission (see the EWC Community Hub Frequently Asked Questions for details on the typical response time) and then rely on both automation and manual inspection to validate, at the very least:

  • Item metadata's completeness
  • Item metadata's documentation readability; English actively enforced as the standard documentation language
  • Item metadata's functional links and reachable contact(s)
  • Item's public access
  • Item's potential security risks

If the review results provide reason for your Item to be rejected, you'll receive clear actionable feedback, which you are required to address if you wish to restart the review process. In other words, if you are determined to feature your Item, you may to restart the review process by simply submitting an updated version of the Item metadata, containing amendments to all points of improvement highlighted in the previous review.

On the other hand, if you abandon the initiative, simply close the PR or request its closure. Note that PRs will be closed without prior notification after a fixed time window without inactivity (see the EWC Community Hub Frequently Asked Questions).
