- If you are already registered with ECMWF please follow the How to reset my ECMWF password procedure. This should give you a new temporary password that you should then change using the How to change my ECMWF password procedure.
- If you know that you are not registered with ECMWF or do not receive any password reset email (do make sure of checking your Junk/Spam folders) you can create a new user id by following: https://apps.ecmwf.int/registration/

How long does my password last?
System set passwords last 30 days, user set passwords last 12 months. After that you will be required to reset your password.
What happens if I do not reset my password?
If you do not reset your password and do not make any login using the ECMWF single sign-on (SSO) to access ECMWF web or computing services then your account will be disabled and you will no longer be able to login.
I have tried to reset my password but I'm unable to login and can't create a ticket what should i do?
