  • Check the system status - there might be a problem at the ECMWF end.
  • Check your ftp is not full - one of the most common reasons that dissemination fails is because there is insufficient space for the data on the recipient's disk.
  • Check whether there have been any changes to the settings/passwords/permissions which control access to your disk.
  • If you have access to the ECMWF Production Data Store (ECPDS) (the system used for transmitting real-time forecast data to users) you can: 
    • check the status of your real-time forecast data dissemination
    • activate a back-up host
    • switch to an alternative host
    • request a new host (if you don't have the access permissions to change it yourself - do this by raising a ticket through the Support Portal).
