About sharing charts from ecCharts and Chart Dashboard

Product, Projection, Dashboard widget (a single chart or meteogram in Dashboard) and Dashboard tab objects can now be sent to other ecCharts users by using sharing functionality. Note that sharing in this context means copying the object to the other user's space. 

Note that if you would like to copy a Dashboard tab, you can use this functionality.

User products and projections contain a link when you hover over the product/projection.

Dashboard widget has a "Share" icon on title window that is visible when you hover over the Dashboard widget

Dashboard tab can be shared by selecting the tab to be shared and clicking the "Share tab" button on the right hand side.

To share one of those objects with another ecCharts user, please follow the steps as below;

• Click on the share button (For Product/Projection/Dashboard widget and Dashboard tab as described above)
• That will create a pop-up window which contains a URL with a unique link.

• Note that as soon as this link is generated, a copy of your object is created. So any changes afterwards will not be reflected on the sharing.
• You can send this link to any other ecCharts user(s) by e-mail.

  Once the link is clicked, it opens a web page explaining what is being shared. Clicking on "import item" button will add the shared object to be added to the user's ecCharts/Dashboard.
