Only tenant admins have the ability to reset a user's password. Users cannot change their own passwords once they have set them. 
If a tenant admin forgets their password, an EWC administrator will need to reset it for them.
Password Recovery
As a tenant admin, follow these steps to reset a user's password:
- Navigate to https://iam.eumetsat.europeanweather.cloud/admin/{tenancy-name}/console/ and login with your admin credentials.
Note: replace {tenancy-name} by the name of your tenancy. - In the left-hand menu, click on Users
 - Click on the username of the user you wish to reset the password for.
 - go to the Credentials tab, and click on Credential Reset
 - In the resetAction dropdown, select Update Password. Then click on Send Email.
 - The user will receive an email with a link to log into their account.
 - The link will redirect the user to a page where they can set their password.
 
Password Policy
When users set their own passwords, they must adhere to the following password policy requirements:
- Minimum 12 characters
 - At least 1 special character
 - At least 1 uppercase character
 - At least 1 digit
 - Cannot reuse the last 3 passwords
 - Cannot contain the user’s name
 - Cannot contain the email address
