When there is an update available for the monitoring functionality of the reception station, it will be announced through EWC channels.
For new users setting up a station, the EUMETCast Terrestrial over AMT VM available on Morpheus has been updated alrady with the latest metricbeat. So in that case you don't need to folow the step below.
If you have already a machine running on EWC, you can update metricbeat package by following these steps:
- Login into Morpheus to your tenancy and go to Provisioning → Instances and look for your eumetcast VM
2. Select your machine and go to Actions → and click Run Workflows
3. Select the workflow “Update Metricbeat for EUMETCast Terrestrial” available on Morpheus and once the workflow finished successfully everything is done
This will allow the EUMETCast team to monitor the reception station statistics and inform you in case of any problems with your station.
