  1. Go to Provision - Instances and click on the instance not completing.
  2. You will see a screen similar to this one:
  3. If the location IP address shows no IP or a private IP one (i.e. 192.168.x.x or 10.X.X.X), it is likely that Morpheus couldn't get an external IP address to communicate to the machine, so  it will not be able to update its status.

There are two a few possibilities:Public network / public floating IP was configured

If running at ECMWF Cloud...

... and public network was configured.

In this case, the public network or public floating IP was configured when provisioning the VM, but Morpheus picked up as the main address one for a private or data network.

Morpheus will eventually be updated with the right IP address

...

after a while.

... and no public network

...

was configured on the instance.

If that is the case, you will need to delete this instance and create a new one with the right network settings.

If When provisioning at ECMWF, please make sure the public network is enabled and floating IPs are not enabled.

... and floating IP was configured.

If that is the case, you will need to delete this instance and create a new one with the right network settings.

When provisioning at ECMWF, please make sure the public network is enabled and appears first of the list of networksfloating IPs are not enabled.

If running at EUMETSAT Cloud...

No public floating IP was configured on the instance.

If that is the case, you will need to delete this instance and create a new one with a floating IP assigned.
