The feedback channel required for retransmission is disabled by default during the trial phase. This results in reduced availability with logs reporting "Lost X messages during the last 60 seconds". Please enable NAKs and ACKs in coordination with EUMETSAT for optimal availability.

  1. Request EUMETSAT to enable ACKs for your station by emailing the User Helpdesk (ops@eumetsat.int) and providing 24hrs of tellicast client log files (logs for all applicable services, i.e. ter-1 and ter-2).
  2. Once good reception has been verified for the client, EUMETSAT will enable the acknowledgements ensuring that the user’s file availability is monitored
