As a tenant admin, you may need to modify user details, reset passwords, or manage roles. Follow these steps to edit users in the Keycloak IAM system:


  1. Navigate to https://iam.eumetsat.europeanweather.cloud/admin/{tenancy-name}/console/ and login with your admin credentials.
    Note: replace {tenancy-name} by the name of your tenancy.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click on Users



  3. Click on the username of the user you wish to edit.




  4. You can modify fields such as Email, First Name, and Last Name if needed.

    Click Save to apply any changes.




  5. To assign or unassign roles, go to the Role Mappings tab:

      - To Assign a role, Click on Assign role 
        
         
        
         Select the desired role from the Roles list, and click Assign. For explanations of EWC roles, please refer to the User Roles and Permissions.

         

     - To Unassign a role, you have two options.

        Select one or multiple roles from the list and click on Unassign.
       
       

        Or, click on the three dots to the right of the role description and choose Unassign.

       

  6. To reset a user password if needed, please refer to the instructions in step 5 here.
