Overview

If you are the owner of an Item with a healthy life-cycle, it's quite likely you'll release new versions as time progresses. If you wish a new version of your Item to be featured on the Community Hub, submission of updated metadata and its review by the EWC team is required.

Keep an eye open for official EWC announcements regarding your Item, and feel free to actively promote it via the the official discussion platform. Consider an example post like:

New Jupyter Notebook for weather data viz is out on the Community Hub—feedback welcome!

Engage by answering questions or hosting demos to show-case your Item. If you are providing maintenance, resolve issues, merge contributions, put out new features, and bundle then in new version releases. As new versions of your Item become available, we invite you to resubmit their updated metadata so that users of the dashboard can always easily browse and compare the last available versions in the a single place.

If you make it this far into the process, the EWC and its community owe you a grate deal of gratitude for your determination to contribute, regardless of if your Item's life-cycle is short or long lasting. If an when your Item's utility reaches its end, you may request it be delisted from the catalog (see Legal, Governance and Support for details).

Thank you for support in making the EWC Community Hub thrive.
