Some other ECMWF datasets are available to members of the public, free of charge (terms and conditions apply).

You can access ECMWF Free & Open Datasets in a number of ways:

• Using the web-based data browser (Open Data Portal: https://data.ecmwf.int/forecasts/)
• Using the public Web API service - this is the preferred way to download data.

  • We also have alternative access methods and cloud platforms for improved global accessibility and added redundancy, ECMWF Open Data subset is replicated and available on major public cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 

While the above products are free, you still need to check the licence for their use - you should find licence details with the products themselves.
